Hamas big missile attack on Tel Aviv al Qassam Brigades wing claim Israel IDF

Israel Hamas War Updates: Hamas has once again launched a major attack on Israel. Hamas’ armed wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, said that it launched a major missile attack on Tel Aviv on Sunday. During this, the Israeli army sounded a siren in the city, warning of possible rocket attacks. So that people could be alerted to avoid the attack.

According to the report of news agency Reuters, Hamas’ armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades on its Telegram channel on Sunday claimed that the rockets were launched in response to the Zionist massacre against civilians. Whereas, Hamas Al-Aqsa TV said that the rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip. Rocket sirens were not heard in Tel Aviv for the last 4 months. However, the Israeli army did not immediately explain the reason for the siren.

There have been no reports of casualties – Emergency Health Team

At the same time, Israeli emergency medical services said that they have not received any reports of casualties. This missile attack shows that the Islamist group is still capable of firing long-range rockets despite the Israeli army’s attacks on the air and ground level for more than 7 months.

Egypt opened the way because of Joe Biden

However, earlier on Sunday, trucks entered Gaza from southern Israel under a new agreement with Egypt to bypass the Rafah crossing since Israeli security forces captured the Palestinian side earlier this month. But it was not clear whether humanitarian groups would be able to access aid due to the ongoing fighting in the area. At the same time, Egypt has refused to reopen its part of the Rafah crossing until control of the Gaza side is handed back to the Palestinians.

It agreed to temporarily divert traffic through Gaza’s main cargo terminal, Israel’s Kerem Shalom crossing, following talks between US President Joe Biden and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi on the issue.

Death toll in Gaza retaliation crosses 35,000

Hamas started the war by attacking Israel on October 7 last year, in which Palestinian militants killed about 1,200 people, most of whom were civilians, and took about 250 people hostage.

Hamas still holds about 250 people hostage, of which 121 are in Gaza itself, 37 of whom have been killed according to the army. While the rest were released during the ceasefire last year. At the same time, at least 35,984 people have been killed in Gaza in Israel’s retaliatory attack, most of whom are civilians.
